Manager for dental practice in Bristol

Jvalamalini is looking for a practice manager to help her run the dental business in Bristol, UK. Birdwell Clinic provides quality dentistry, physiotherapy and complementary therapies to the local community on the outskirts of Bristol. We are a friendly team of caring people, who enjoy working together to build relationships with patients to make their visits to us as stress-free as possible. We are rewarded by having (mostly!) lovely patients.

She needs someone to take an operational strategic role that will ensure excellent patient experience by engaging in the following:-

· Developing and maintaining systems
· Facilitating excellent team performance
· Assisting with financial management and planning
· Initiating and overseeing marketing activity in order to grow the private dental practice effectively

The right person would have the ability to take initiative; be familiar with systems, procedures and IT; able to generate ideas and create a culture of ideas. Also an excellent communicator; able to enthuse, persuade and develop people; mature, unflappable, with management experience and the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically and effectively

The post is part-time initially, and the ability to be flexible and self-organising is important.
