Windhorse Trading's Regional Sales team has an opening for a Sales Person, man or woman.  Based in Cambridge UK, Windhorse is the FWBO's largest Right Livelihood business with over 200 staff.

WINDHORSE:EVOLUTION seeks CHAIN DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

The post is full-time and based in Cambridge, UK. Payment will be on the basis of "support" or salary (by negotiation)

Windhorse:evolution is looking for a competent Project Manager to organise and oversee the opening of new Evolution shops and carry out projects related to the shops. The role involves working in a Buddhist team based in Cambridge. The team are value-driven and have a strong sense of Buddhist ethos.

The job is an interesting and engaging role involving the acquiring of suitable shop properties and the setting up of the shop to Evolution standards.

There is a lot of liaison with property agents, lawyers and shop-fitting teams. The ideal candidate, as well as being able to participate in the ethos of windhorse:evolution, would have the following skills :-

• Proven Project Management experience
• Good organisation and facilitation skills
• Good communication and liaising skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Good problem solving abilities
• Able to work to deadlines and within financial budgets

Centre Manager required for Cambridge Buddhist Centre

The entrance to the Cambridge Buddhist CentreThe FWBO’s Cambridge Buddhist Centre is at the heart of a large sangha and runs a popular range of courses for newcomers as well as events for the more mature sangha. It also runs a range of courses in bodywork and mindfulness-based approaches.

The Centre is looking for a new Centre Manager. The exact responsibilities will depend on the applicant and the existing team, but are likely to include:


  • Managing the office team and volunteers
  • Overseeing the administration of the Centre
  • Managing the day-to-day finances, including supervising a book-keeper
  • Working closely with the Council and those teaching at the Centre

 The ideal candidate would be

  • an Order member or mitra [1]
  • good with people
  • well organised
  • be computer literate and able to use Word and Excel
  • confident with figures and understand finances
  • flexible
  • work well with others 

If possible we would like someone with experience of team-based right livelihood and of fund raising.

Publishing assistant required for Windhorse Publications

WINDHORSE PUBLICATIONS, the FWBO’s successful publishing company, is going in new directions, seeking new ways to bring the movement’s evolving ideas into the world. With a new focus on flexibility and new sales we now seek a Publishing Assistant.

This job is a great opportunity to contribute to spreading the Dharma. It also provides the opportunity to learn about publishing through working for a small publisher where you can become involved in all parts of the publishing process, although the emphasis will be on marketing.

We are looking for someone with computer and communication skills, who is well-organised, steady and can learn quickly. Publishing experience is desirable but not required. The ideal candidate will be capable of working on their own some of the time and multi-tasking.

The job will be based in Cambridge. Hours and salary are negotiable.
